Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Composition by Tróndur Patursson was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 4,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71). Other works by Tróndur Patursson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March this year by the work Installation at DKK 32,000.00 (€ 4,294.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Composition von Tróndur Patursson im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 4.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Tróndur Patursson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit Installation mit DKK 32.000,00 (€ 4.294,33).
