Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Vecchio mendicante e bambina by Trento Longaretti was auctioned at Il Ponte in June last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Trento Longaretti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madre in nero e blu, which sold at auction in May 2017 for EUR 3,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Vecchio mendicante e bambina von Trento Longaretti im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Trento Longaretti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Madre in nero e blu beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für EUR 3.800,00 versteigert wurde.
