Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Indochine, which included the work Two landscapes in the surroundings of Saigon by Tran Van Giang. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,134.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Tran Van Giang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February last year the work On the way to the market in Dalat was auctioned for HKD 10,710.00 (€ 1,220.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Indochine durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two landscapes in the surroundings of Saigon von Tran Van Giang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.134,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Tran Van Giang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar letzten Jahres die Arbeit On the way to the market in Dalat für HKD 10.710,00 (€ 1.220,43) versteigert.
