Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Street Vendor by Tran Luu Hau was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 76,800.00 (€ 9,205.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tran Luu Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hanoi Trees in October this year with an auction result of HKD 702,500.00 (€ 84,954.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Street Vendor von Tran Luu Hau kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 76.800,00 (€ 9.205,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Luu Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hanoi Trees im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 702.500,00 (€ 84.954,11).
