Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sapa Landscapes by Tran Luu Hau was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 96,000.00 (€ 11,506.66). Admittedly, works by Tran Luu Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hanoi Trees in October this year with an auction result of HKD 702,500.00 (€ 84,954.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sapa Landscapes von Tran Luu Hau wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Southeast Asian Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 96.000,00 (€ 11.506,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Luu Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hanoi Trees im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 702.500,00 (€ 84.954,11).
