A top price for Tran Duy Liem - as previously expected
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work La Baignade Dans La Rivière (The River Bath) by Tran Duy Liem. The result of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Baignade Dans La Rivière (The River Bath) is the most expensive artwork by Tran Duy Liem that we have observed at auctions so far.
