The work Diana Resting With A Landscape Beyond by Toussaint Gelton was sold in the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,949.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toussaint Gelton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Crucifixion in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 17,300.00 (€ 23,507.77).
