The work Rainy Forest; Water's Edge & Story Teller by Toshiyuki Enoki was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 319,500.00 (€ 26,303.31), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Toshiyuki Enoki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Joyful monkey; & Playful Monkey, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28).

Die Arbeit Rainy Forest; Water's Edge & Story Teller von Toshiyuki Enoki wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 319.500,00 (€ 26.303,31) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Toshiyuki Enoki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Joyful monkey; & Playful Monkey beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28) versteigert wurde.
