Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Diana and The Hind" by Tore Strindberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,739.50). Admittedly, works by Tore Strindberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Europa" in December 2013 with an auction result of SEK 190,000.00 (€ 21,455.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Diana and The Hind" von Tore Strindberg im Juni 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.739,50) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tore Strindberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Europa" im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 190.000,00 (€ 21.455,84).
