Auction result well in line with expectations
The work THE MEMORY OF COMET - 05 by Tomohiro Inaba was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,136.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tomohiro Inaba have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work The Memory of Comet - 08 was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,747.79).
