Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Opstilling med citroner” (still life with lemons) by Tommy Storkholm for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.12). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tommy Storkholm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Flaskebillede III”, 1986 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 1,800.00 (€ 1,573.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Opstilling med citroner” (still life with lemons) von Tommy Storkholm für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tommy Storkholm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Flaskebillede III”, 1986 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 1.800,00 (€ 1.573,15).
