Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Different studies by Tommaso Minardi was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 250.00 – 300.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tommaso Minardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Virgin And Child With St John The Baptist in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,661.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Different studies von Tommaso Minardi im Oktober 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 250,00 – 300,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 200,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tommaso Minardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Virgin And Child With St John The Baptist im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.661,07).
