A top price for Tomio Miki
This artwork by Tomio Miki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Ear No. 113 sold for HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 134,581.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. This high result makes Ear No. 113 the most expensive artwork by Tomio Miki that we have observed at auctions so far.
