Despite a disappointment, a good price for Tomie Ohtake
This work of art by Tomie Ohtake could be acquired at Christies in New York in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 95,000.00 (€ 85,639.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Tomie Ohtake that we have observed at auction so far.
