Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cloud Interior D by Tomás Saraceno was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 12,928.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tomás Saraceno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work M102/W+W in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,774.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cloud Interior D von Tomás Saraceno wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 12.928,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomás Saraceno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit M102/W+W im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.774,15).
