Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The college valley; and Over the gate by Tom Carr was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. It achieved a price of GBP 352.50 (€ 545.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Carr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,777.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The college valley; and Over the gate von Tom Carr kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 352,50 (€ 545,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Carr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.777,36).
