Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART & DOGS, which included the work Sarat by Adrian Ramos. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,951.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Ramos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Double Bank, Punchestown, which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,451.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion SPORTING ART & DOGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sarat von Adrian Ramos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.951,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Ramos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Double Bank, Punchestown beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.451,61) versteigert wurde.
