Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Tobias Rehberger could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Hänger II changed hands for EUR 625.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tobias Rehberger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reus in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 61,636.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tobias Rehberger konnte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Hänger II für EUR 625,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tobias Rehberger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reus im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 61.636,51).
