A top price for Tingqua - as previously expected
In November 2019 Christies in London held the auction China Trade Paintings: Selections from the Kelton Collection, which included the work A Chinese Album by Tingqua. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,776.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Chinese Album is the most expensive artwork by Tingqua that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion China Trade Paintings: Selections from the Kelton Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Chinese Album von Tingqua zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.776,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Chinese Album das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tingqua, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
