Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tha Masked Ball by Tim Fargher was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2006. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 570.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Tim Fargher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Floribunda, Hacheston, Suffolk, 1988 in February 2004 with an auction result of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 4,995.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tha Masked Ball von Tim Fargher kam im November 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 570,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tim Fargher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Floribunda, Hacheston, Suffolk, 1988 im Februar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.346,00 (€ 4.995,74).
