A top price for Tian Taiquan - as previously expected
The work Lethe, 2006 by Tian Taiquan was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2006. The price achieved of EUR 3,083.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lethe, 2006 is the most expensive artwork by Tian Taiquan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Lethe, 2006 von Tian Taiquan wurde im Dezember 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.083,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Lethe, 2006 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tian Taiquan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
