Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Thorbjørn Lausten could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Untitled, circa 1996 changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.37) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thorbjørn Lausten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thorbjørn Lausten konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1996 für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thorbjørn Lausten erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 5.000,00 (€ 4.369,87).
