Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 40,625.00 (€ 29,186.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Weaver - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Head Of A White Faced Ram, Facing Right; And Head Of A Black Faced Ram, Facing Left, A Seascape Beyond, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,134.62).
