Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Thomas Todd Blaylock could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Victorian Pictures auction, the work Delphiniums changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 267.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Todd Blaylock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lost in thought in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,363.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Todd Blaylock konnte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Victorian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Delphiniums für GBP 180,00 (€ 267,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Todd Blaylock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lost in thought im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.363,66).
