Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradise 25, Yuquehy/ Brazil by Thomas Struth was auctioned at Phillips in London in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 69,850.00 (€ 80,940.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Struth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pantheon, Rome in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,810,000.00 (€ 1,646,352.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradise 25, Yuquehy/ Brazil von Thomas Struth kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 69.850,00 (€ 80.940,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Struth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pantheon, Rome im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.810.000,00 (€ 1.646.352,56).
