It achieved a price of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,534.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Sidney Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reposing on God's Acre in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 171,650.00 (€ 250,603.59).
