Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German dance by Thomas Ring was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,385.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Roter Gong“ / „Rote Stimme“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 118,750.00.

Die Arbeit German dance von Thomas Ring kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.385,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Roter Gong“ / „Rote Stimme“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 118.750,00.
