It achieved a price of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,484.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Thomas Hope have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme & enfant turcs.
