In September 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations, which included the work O.T. (orchideen) I (a diptych) by Thomas Florschuetz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas Florschuetz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ricochet IX in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 22,180.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit O.T. (orchideen) I (a diptych) von Thomas Florschuetz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Florschuetz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ricochet IX im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.340,00 (€ 22.180,73).
