Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Austrian hafen Von Triest (The Harbour, Trieste) by Thomas Ender. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,537.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Thomas Ender have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Panoramic View of Florence was auctioned for USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,088.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Austrian hafen Von Triest (The Harbour, Trieste) von Thomas Ender zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.537,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ender konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Panoramic View of Florence für USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.088,76) versteigert.
