Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Mont Aux Sources by Thomas Cooper Gotch for USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,734.84). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Cooper Gotch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dawn of Womanhood in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 126,137.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
