In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Monterey Cypress by Thomas Arnold McGlynn. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,379.57), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Arnold McGlynn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Morning, Pebble Beach, which sold at auction in June 2002 for USD 10,157.50 (€ 10,305.91).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monterey Cypress von Thomas Arnold McGlynn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.379,57) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Arnold McGlynn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Morning, Pebble Beach beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für USD 10.157,50 (€ 10.305,91) versteigert wurde.
