In April this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included this untitled work by Thomas Arge. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.89), 50% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Arge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Landslag” (Landscape), Faroe Islands 1969 in June this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,397.44).
Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thomas Arge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,89) und damit 50% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Arge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Landslag” (Landscape), Faroe Islands 1969 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.397,44).
