Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work November Marsh and Marsh Creek (a group of two) by Thomas Aquinas Daly. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 896.00 (€ 821.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Thomas Aquinas Daly have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work November Marsh in November this year with an auction result of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,693.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit November Marsh and Marsh Creek (a group of two) von Thomas Aquinas Daly zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 896,00 (€ 821,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thomas Aquinas Daly auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit November Marsh im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.693,80).
