Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sanctuary Lamps by Thierry Bosquet for GBP 630.00 (€ 733.21). This price was achieved in the auction The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thierry Bosquet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre (Ensemble De Deux Oeuvres Sur Papier) in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sanctuary Lamps von Thierry Bosquet für GBP 630,00 (€ 733,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Robin and Rupert Hambro Collection bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thierry Bosquet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre (Ensemble De Deux Oeuvres Sur Papier) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.750,00.
