The work Still life with sunflowers by Theodorus van Oorschot was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2002. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 763.75 (€ 1,248.53). With this result, Still life with sunflowers is even the most expensive work of art by Theodorus van Oorschot that we have observed at auctions so far.
