Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A river landscape with figures and horses on a path by Théobald Michau was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,745.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théobald Michau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travellers And Their Herds Departing From A Village; Travellers Unpacking Their Carts And Entering A Village in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 199,918.33).
