Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View Of A Temple by Theo Meier was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 14,839.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theo Meier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rejang Dance in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View Of A Temple von Theo Meier kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 14.839,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theo Meier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rejang Dance im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
