Upper estimate price exceeded by 100 %.

This artwork by Theo Meier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho auction, the work Flowers sold for HKD 239,400.00 (€ 26,005.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theo Meier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rejang Dance in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 5,440,000.00 (€ 515,772.45).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Theo Meier erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho wurde die Arbeit Flowers für HKD 239.400,00 (€ 26.005,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theo Meier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rejang Dance im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.440.000,00 (€ 515.772,45).
