Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life By A Window by Thelma Hulbert for GBP 72.00 (€ 105.78). This price was achieved in the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Thelma Hulbert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter landscape & table in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 360.00 (€ 534.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life By A Window von Thelma Hulbert für GBP 72,00 (€ 105,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thelma Hulbert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winter landscape & table im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 360,00 (€ 534,68).
