Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work 6.XII.66 by Thea Ekström for USD 187.50 (€ 134.95). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thea Ekström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "18 VII" in September this year with an auction result of SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,561.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 6.XII.66 von Thea Ekström für USD 187,50 (€ 134,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thea Ekström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "18 VII" im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 18.000,00 (€ 1.561,22).
