This work without title by Thea Ekström was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,500.00 (€ 962.22), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Thea Ekström have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of SEK 18,000.00 (€ 1,561.22) in September this year for the work "18 VII".
