The work A Prophet by The Master of the Misericordia was sold in the Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale) auction at Christies in London in December 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 104,661.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by The Master of the Misericordia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saint Anthony Abbot and Saint James the Greater, which sold at auction in January 2012 for USD 542,500.00 (€ 415,613.27).

Die Arbeit A Prophet von The Master of the Misericordia wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Old Master & British Pictures (Day Sale) bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 104.661,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66%. Für andere Arbeiten von The Master of the Misericordia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saint Anthony Abbot and Saint James the Greater beobachtet, die im Januar 2012 für USD 542.500,00 (€ 415.613,27) versteigert wurde.
