Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Madonna And Child by The Master Of San Miniato. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 80,500.00 (€ 101,535.81), 15% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by The Master Of San Miniato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Madonna And Child, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 386,500.00 (€ 284,525.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna And Child von The Master Of San Miniato zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 101.535,81) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von The Master Of San Miniato mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Madonna And Child beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für USD 386.500,00 (€ 284.525,91) versteigert wurde.
