Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,328.06). Admittedly, works by Thalia Flora-Karavia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'artiste dans son studio in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 27,812.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Porch Of Caryatids von Thalia Flora-Karavia wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.328,06) einen neuen Besitzer.
