Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Terry O'Neill could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in CaliforniaPhotographs auction, the work Faye Dunaway, The Beverly Hills Hotel ('The Morning After') changed hands for USD 19,200.00 (€ 17,356.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Terry O'Neill - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brigitte Bardot, Spain, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 48,260.00 (€ 56,150.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terry O'Neill konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaPhotographs wechselte die Arbeit Faye Dunaway, The Beverly Hills Hotel ('The Morning After') für USD 19.200,00 (€ 17.356,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Terry O'Neill mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brigitte Bardot, Spain beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 48.260,00 (€ 56.150,83) versteigert wurde.
