This artwork by Terry DeLapp achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. In the California Art auction, the work Orange Afternoon sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,907.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Terry DeLapp; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flower Field- Lompoc sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,661.68).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Terry DeLapp; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flower Field- Lompoc im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.661,68).
