A top price for Terry Bailey - as previously expected
The work Classic Sailing Off St. Mawes 2004 by Terry Bailey was sold in the Sporting and Marine Art auction at Sothebys in London in May 2009. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,434.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Classic Sailing Off St. Mawes 2004 is the most expensive artwork by Terry Bailey that we have observed at auctions so far.
