In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Bauer in Winterlandschaft sold for EUR 3,870.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Theodor Axentowicz; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Junge Frau in Frühlingslandschaft sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of EUR 5,547.00.
