Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portoferrato, Elba or Pioggia imminente by Telemaco Signorini was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,325.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Telemaco Signorini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa., which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 160,100.00.

Die Arbeit Portoferrato, Elba or Pioggia imminente von Telemaco Signorini kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.325,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Telemaco Signorini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Una via di Firenze (La casa di Dante da Castiglione nel mercato vecchio di Firenze), 1881 circa. beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 160.100,00 versteigert wurde.
